DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES The following sales we.re recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday:—
GOLD MINING RETURNS The Argo dredge reports a return of 113 ounces of gold from 16,000 cubic yards worked in 132 hours. The Rimu dredge reports a return of 220 ounces of gold from 43,991 cubic yards worked in 116 hours. The Mataki dredge return for the week ended June 5 was 31 ounces for 132 hours’ work and 9000 cubic yards dredged. Gillespie’s Beach wash-up for 113 hours' dredging for the week was 520 z for 14,000 cubic yards. Five days were worked on the beach section and one on the lagoon. For the week ended June 3, the Clutha River dredge at Alexandra worked 113 hours for 1250 z. of gold.
