SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT. WON /BY CARTERTON. Carterton A won the seven-a-side junior Rugby tournament played at Memorial Park yesterday afternoon, defeating Opaki by eight points to three. For the winners Dellar and Braggins each scored a try, and Steffcrt converted one. Opaki’s points came from a try by Costello. The games were interesting,, and promising form was shown by many of the players. The results were as follow: — First round: Masterton A 3, Red Star B 0; Opaki A 16, Carterton B 3; Red Star A 23, Masterton B 3; Carterton A a bye.

Second round: Carterton A 11, Masterton A 3; Opaki A 6, Red Star A 0. Final: Carterton A 8, Opaki 3.
