Percival, driver of the train wrecked in the Ratana disaster, is out and about again, though he is still under medical treatment. He is at present an out-patient at the Wellington Hospital, where he is daily receiving attention. The investigation into the derailment will be resumed next Tuesday and persons desiring to give evidence relevant to the subject matter - of the inquiry or to be represented are asked to communicate with Mr J. G. Whetton, secretary to the Inquiry Board. Mr Whetton states that the board intends calling an additional 24 passengers, after which there will bo cross-examination of certain technical witnesses. According to present ideations, Mr Percival will be the last witness.
