SIR H. WILKINS’S POLAR PLANS. (Recd This Day, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, June 6. The “Daily Telegraph’s” Oslo correspondent says Sir Hubert Wilkins told an interviewer that he expects it will be possible for his submarine to remain under the Polar ice for three months. He is taking drills with which to bore the ice in order to come to the surface renew the air and make observations.
