GOOD COMPETITION MARKET FIRM By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. SYDNEY, June 6. ? The wool sales were resumed today under good competition, mainly from the Continent, Japan and Yorkshire. The market maintained its firmness. A line of greasy merino realised to 17id.
The offering consisted of 8606 bales, of which 6380 were sold at auction, 1338 being sold privately.
