COLLEGE BOARD

ELECTION OF THREE PARENTS’ REPRESENTATIVES.

The parents of Wairarapa College will be called upon shortly to elect three representatives on the Board of Governors. It is understood that the three sitting members, Messrs L. J. Taylor, who is chairman of the board, A. T. Jackson and W. A. Clarke will all be seeking re-election. Mr A. Owen Jones is also announced as a candidate and other nominations are likely, so that a contest seems assured. Nominations of candidates will close with the returning officer, Mr H. M. Boddington, at noon on Tuesday. The poll, which is a postal one, will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 16.
