CAR GOES OVER BANK
MAN KILLED AN OTHERS INJURED ACCIDENT NEAR TAUMARUNUI (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, This Day. A fatality occurred at Herlihy’s Bluff, on the Wanganui River near Taumarunui, last night, when a car backing to let another car pass on a narrow stretch of road went over a precipitious bank and rolled to the river’s edge. James Murphy, of Kaponga, a married man, was killed instantaneously. Michael Malone,. of Kaponga had a thigh broken, and a man, believed to be named Dodd, of Stratford, also was severely injured and is unconscious.
