■ INTERPRETATION OF RULES IN N.S.W. PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT CONFLICT. (Recd This Day, 11.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The New South Wales Rugby League is taking precautions to prevent a conflict over rule interpretations in matches against the New Zealand tourists, and will have a conference with the appointed referee to discuss interpretations. In addition, a nominee of the Appointments Board will be placed at the New Zealanders’ disposal during the week prior to their first match.
