NAME YOUR COAST

The French have a pretty habit of giving to the different parts of the coast of their country some fancy name. Thus the coast beside the blue Mediterranean is called the Azure Coast, and that of the south-west, washed by the waves of the Atlantic, tha Silver Coast. The Golden Coast, or Cote d’Or, is not a coast as we understand it, for it is a region not next to the sea. Mother-of-Pearl Coast is the name of another section of seaboard.
