BOOKMAKING CHARGES
TWO MEN FINED. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Two men were fined for charges connected with bookmaking in the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, yesterday. William Ritchie Hill, hairdresser, aged 27, pleaded guilty to bookmaking and was fined £2O, in default three months' imprisonment. Clive Beresford Ericsson, hairdresser, aged 23, pleaded guilty to a charge of having used premises at 32 Cambridge Terrace for betting purposes and was fined £l5. Mr W. F. Stilwell was on the bench.
