GREYTOWN
SERVICE STATION BROKEN INTO. (“Times-Age” Special.) Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co.’s service station, at the south end of Greytown, was broken into on Friday night, but the intruders got little for their trouble, as the till had been emptied except for a few odd pence before the assistant had closed the premises for the night. To effect an entrance the burglars broke a hole in the window, lifted the latch and then threw open the window. PERSONAL ITEMS. Mr “Barney” Rhodes is at present under treatment at the Greytown Hospital. Mr and Mrs W. Billman, of Greytown, will depart tomorrow on a holiday visit to Auckland. Mr Frank Kempton, of Greytown, has left on a visit to Australia. Mr and Mrs Thomas Moss, of Newman, Eketahuna, are visiting in Greytown, being the guests of their daughter, Mrs R. C. Wilson.
