MINIATURE RIFLES

MASTERTON CLUB COMPETITION. POSSIBLE TO H. KING. The fourth competition shoot of the Masterton Club was fired on the range last night, when there was a big attendance of members. H. King was successful in winning both the weekly trophy and the monthly aggregate with a total of 394.56 out of a total of 400. The ladies’ fortnightly trophy was won by Miss E. Olliver, with Miss T. Renall runner-up. The following are the individual scores: —H. King, 100; L. Renall, D. P. Donald, 99; J. W. Curtin, H. K. Smith, V. E. Donald, 98; A. White, 97; C. Pickering, 96; R. V. Mason, Mrs King, P. Russell, H. V. Donald, Hope Cross, B. Summers, 95; J. Duckett, Mrs Henderson, 94; Miss J. Dixon, 93; Miss Olliver, 92; W. Mason, A. Gibbs, F. Seward, C. Curtis, 91; K. Cooper, Miss Hubball, 90; Miss J. Gray, A. Wishart, 89; L. H. Carter, 88; Miss T. Renall, 85; H. Preston, 82. PRAGNELL SHIELD TEAM. The following team has been selected to represent the club in a Pragnell Shield challenge match against against the holders, South Featherston, to be fired on the latter club’s range on Monday evening next.
