SAFE REMOVED
BURGLARY IN PALMERSTON NORTH. HAND TRUCK & VEHICLE USED. PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day. Burglars last night entered the premises of J. L. Bennett, auctioneers, Rangitikei Street, and removed the safe, the exact contents of which are not known, though they included cheques and money. An entrance was gained by breaking a window at the back. A hand truck, left near the main door, suggests that the safe was wheeled across the floor to a vehicle backed against the rear door.
