FORTY=HOUR WEEK
AUSTRALIAN LABOUR PLANS. GOVERNMENT URGED TO ACT. (Recd This Day, 10.55 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Inter-State Executive of the Australian Council of Trades Unions has adopted new plans for a fortyhour week in industry and has decided to mobilise Labour forces for its attainment. All Labour governments will be urged to introduce a FortyHour Week Bill.
