GOLF CLUB NOTES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The following players will represent Featherston against Pirinoa, at Pirinoa on Sunday next. Cars will leave at 8.45 a.m.:—Messrs Rowles, Crawford, Wehipeihana, Allen, O’Neale, Fountain, R. Donald, McCallum, Jeffrey, McCarty, Davis, Carlyon, Greig, Lovegrove. The second round of the Stableford competition for Mr Lang’s trophy, will be played on Saturday. The following is the draw for the ladies’ fourball competition:—Miss M. Ruane and Mrs Staples; Miss Williams and Miss B. Smith; Mrs L. Benton and Mrs Jeffrey; Mrs Carlyon and Mrs Johns; Mrs Davis and Mrs Lovegrove; Mrs Stockley and Mrs McCarty; Miss D. Bloxam and Miss J. Ruane; Mrs Turnbull and Mrs McGill; Miss M. Bloxam and Miss M. Tocker.s EUCHRE TOURNAMENT. There was a good attendance at the Fire Brigade weekly euchre tournament on Tuesday, the winners being as follow: —Ladies: Mrs Worsley, 1; Mrs Rewai, 2. Men: Mr S. Crawford, 1; Mr Rea, 2.
