WELCOME RAIN
END OF LONG DROUGHT IN N.S.W, SYDNEY, May 25. Splendid rain has fallen in New South Wales during the past 48 hours, especially benefiting the pastoral and wheat districts. The weather bureau expresses the opinion that the long drought is ended. The farming outlook is distinctly improved. Dairying districts have received more rain than is required.
