GIFT EVENING

MISS E. DILLON ENTERTAINED. The friends of Miss Eleanor Dillon, whose marriage to the Rev Farrer Middlebrook will take place shortly, entertained her at a delightful gift evening held last night in the Savage Club rooms. There was a very large attendance and a most enjoyable time was spent. The parcels containing many beautiful and useful presents were opened by Miss Dillon. The Rev G. V. Pearson replying on her behalf, expressed thanks for the gifts and for the enjoyable evening. Mr C. K. Long was an efficient M.C. and an excellent supper was provided by the ladies.
