PERSONAL ITEMS
A visitor to Greytown is Nurse Maddison, of Wellington. Mrs D. J. Davis, of Wellington, is visiting friends at Greytown. Miss Eva Card, Featherston, left Wellington last night for Christchurch. Mrs Norman Beetham, Masterton, is visiting her niece, Mrs D. P. Johnston, Lower Hutt. Mr and Mrs W. McMinn, of Greytown, will shortly take up their residence in Masterton. Miss R. Morison, of Greytown, will leave shortly for England, where she will further pursue her nursing studies. Miss E. Lyttelton, the well-known New Zealand novelist, whose pen-name is “G. B. Lancaster,” is at present on a visit to Christchurch. She will leave in a few weeks for Canada. Mr and Mrs S. E. Taylor, of Essex Street, Masterton, entertained a number of the friends of their daughter, Miss Mavis Taylor, at a picture party and supper last night, in celebration of the coming-of-age of the latter. Visitors were present from Wellington, Taranaki and Napier, as well as Masterton, and a most enjoyable time was spent.
