NOT YET SETTLED

THE KAIMIRO DISPUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 25. Protracted discussion by both parties during the past week has not yet resulted in any solution to the deadlock over the manning by the Seamen’s Union of the steamer Kaimiro. Following the dispute the crew of the ship was paid off a week ago and since then the vessel has been idle. A meeting of the Seamen's Union was held today to consider taking the ship to sea. No result was reached and a further meeting will be held tomorrow.
