The President, M. Lebrun, has signed decrees authorising a Public Works expenditure of £61,000,000 spread over two years, throughout France and in overseas possessions; also credit facilities to industry, at low interest rates and a modification of the forty-hour week by adoption of a 2,000-hour year.
