FINAL APPEAL TO SYDNEY WATERSIDERS

The Federal Prime Minister, the Rt Hon J. A. Lyons, has issued a final appeal to waterside workers, to lift their ban on the loading of tin clippings for Japan.
At a hastily convened meeting of the Federal Cabinet last night, it was decided to consider today the request by Australian Council of Trades Unions, that further time be allowed for the adjustment of the dispute.
