TRUST POLL

FOUR CANDIDATES OFFERING FOR THREE SEATS. VOTING THIS THURSDAY. Residents of the Masterton Small Fai;m Area will be called upon on Thursday to elect three representatives on the Trust Lands Trust. There are four candidates in the field, Messrs J. Macfarlane Laing and L. J. Taylor (retiring members), J. H. Handyside and H. H. Daniell. All persons, 21 years of age or over, resident for at least six months in the Masterton Small Farm Area are entitled to vote. The franchise is purely on a residential qualification. The following polling places have been appointed: Municipal Hall; Mr Valier’s residence, 85 Bentley Street; the Epiphany School Room, Short Street; Mr F. G. Fellingham’s shop. First Street. Lansdowne; and Mr E. Woodley’s dwelling, Upper Plain. The polling hours arc from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
