ELDERLY MAN KILLED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., May 23. Mr John William Kendall, single, aged about 72 years, was knocked down by a car in Church Street. Palmerston North, at about 6.30 o'clock this evening. • Mr Kendall, who was an old-age pensioner and had lived at Palmerston North for many years, died on the way to hospital.
