SHEEP DECLINE IN PRICES By Telegraph—Press Association. Copyright. LONDON, May 21. The publication of butter stocks showing an increase of 160,000 boxes has resulted in a sharp decline of prices from the recent high levels, but trade is almost negligible. Some Tooley Street merchants consider the weakness of New Zealand butter surprising owing to short arrivals, and expect an early recovery, but others take a more bearish view. In any case the market is likely to remain uncertain.
