The mystery surrounding the disappearance of Dr Igratz Greibl, described as leader of the American Nazi (reported in an earlier cablegram) was deepened when his wife stated: “I cannot believe that he would have left me like this of his own free will. ■ I honestly do not know whether my husband is alive or dead. When he left me near the pier, he said: “I will come back in half ,an hour. I have an appointment with some one at the North' German Lloyd pier. I never saw him again.”

She added that her husband had severed connection with his friends in the new Germany several years ago.
