MISSING STEAMER

REPORT AS TO HATCH COVERS DISCREDITED. (Recd This Day, 9.55 a.m.) LONDON, May 17. Sir John Lichton, chairman of the Lowther Latta and Co., ship owners, announces that further advices from the Dalhanna prove that the hatch covers seen were not from the Anglo-Australian, to the fate of which there is still no clue. The London steamer Anglo-Austra-lian has been missing since she was reported to have passed the Azores on March 14. She was bound from Cardiff to Vancouver.
