MASTERTON VERSUS SOUTH FEATHERSTON. A & B GRADE MATCHES BOTH DRAWN. An inter-club match between the South Featherston and the Masterton Miniature Rifle Clubs fired last evening on the Masterton range resulted in a tie for both the A and B teams. Following are the scores:— South Featherston A: L. Lumsden, 99; M. Hodder, C. Bain, 98; P. Gain, R. Yule. A. Gain, J. Bain, 97; L. G. Rasmussen, A. Yule, 96; A. Ashworth, 94; total, 969. Masterton A: P. Russell, 99; H. K. Smith, Hope Cross, Mrs King, B. R. Jenkins, 98; V. E. Donald, 97; D. P. Donald. H. King, 96; H. V. Donald, 95; B. Summers, 94; total, 969. South Featherston B: P. George, 97; Mrs Burt, 95; Miss Burt, 94; Mrs Lumsden, R. Jepsen, 93; total, 472. Masterton B: J. W. Curtin, 97; Miss Gray, R. V. Mason, 96; F. Seward, 92; L. Renall, 91; total 472. Members are asked to note that the usual practice shoot for this evening, will not take place, owing to the range being used for another purpose. The usual trophy shoot will be held on Thursday next.
