FLEETING VISIT
ENGLAND TO AUSTRALIA FOR WEEKEND.
THEATRICAL PRODUCER’S TRIP. After five years in England Miss Kathleen Robinson, an Australian of Irish descent, is going back to Australia, but only for a weekend. Miss Robinson, who is associated with Mr Ronald Adam at the Embassy Theatre, will arrive at Sydney on a Friday and start back on the following Monday morning. A weekend is all she can spare. “Nothing would induce me to go by plane,” Miss Robinson said. “I am going in the ordinary way by train and boat. You see, mother wanted to go back home for a holiday. I have been rather busy lately, with my theatrical affairs on this side. So I thought if I went with her I could spend the time reading plays and get-' ting a little fresh air in the process. “I really ought to have had an advance agent to arrange the bill-post-ing,” she said thoughtfully, “There is a lot of staff work about a long distance weekend like this. But I have had a few weeks to prepare and I think everything should be all right. “Fortunately most of my friends and relations live in the big towns. They will be there to meet the boat at Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. “My greatest problem has been my cousin, who manages our sheep station up country. He can only afford a weekend too, and he will have to work out his three days round trip very carefully, otherwise he will miss me.”
