GEORGE ARLISS IN “DR. SYN.” “Dr. Syn” will have its final screening at the State Theatre tonight. COMING TOMORROW. “LIVING ON LOVE.” Presenting James Dunn and Whitney Bourne in the leading roles, RKO Radio’s “Living on Love” is a distinctive screen story which turns down new avenues for laughs, and develops humour from a series of novel incidents. It will open its Masterton season tomorrow. Farce complications pile up rapidly. Not the least of these are furnished by previous attachments of the two. Lew Landers, who directed the film, shows an expert sense of comedy timing in tieing these elements together, and the result is a fast-moving picture which develops new angles before the audience is aware of what has happened. In an outstanding added attraction at the State Theatre, patrons will have the chance of seeing the authentic and exclusive film of the Braddock-Farr fight. Fought in New York City it was regarded as an eliminating bout to decide who should be the logical contender against Joe Louis for the heavy-weight crown.
