COSY THEATRE

TONIGHT’S ATTRACTIONS. A new, more dynamic, more colourful Edward Everett Horton makes his appearance in Universal’s triggerquick action comedy, “His Night Out,” which will open tonight at the Cosy Theatre. Horton is the whole show, and makes the hour and a quarter of this production interesting, entertaining and hilarious. Beautiful Irene Hervey, scored as Horton’s foil in the delightful comedy. Others in the cast included Robert McWade, playing excellently one of his “crabby” roles; Jack Leßue as a sinister gangster; Lolo Lane, as his sweetheart; Willard Robertson, as the kindly business man interested in the happiness of Miss Hervey and Oscar Apfel, as a “quack” physician. Noticed also were those splendid troupers of the silent days, Clara Kimball Young, Jack Hulhall and Frank Mayo. A swiftly paced thrilling adventure picture, made exciting by scenes of fire and mutiny at sea, is the cinema offering. “Dangerous Waters,” the Universal drama which opens an engagement at the Cosy Theatre tonight. Jack Holt is the star of this interesting screen play. In addition to Robert Armstrong, Miss Bradley, and Charlie Murray, Holt’s supporting cast includes Ed Gargan, Willard Robertson, Richard Alexander and Dewey Robinson.
