A strong stand on behalf of Australian primary industries, in relation to the pending negotiations in London for a revision of the Ottawa Agreement, has been taken by the Agricultural Council, which has cabled Sir Earle Page urging that no action be taken which will affect adversely the exportation of agricultural and pastoral products to the United Kingdom from the Commonwealth, adding that the Council will not agree to any restrictive measures or alterations of the tariff that affect adversely the agricultural industries of the Commonwealth.
