APRIL IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. (Recd This Day, 9.35 a.m.) LONDON, May 15. Board of Trade returns for April show: — Imports, £73,679,000; exports, £37,266,000, and re-exports, £5,010,000. ’ The principal increases are: —Imports of dairy produce, £1,069,000 and exports of machinery, £786,000. Decrease in imports, grain and flour, £967,000; other foods, £909,000; cotton raw waste, £1,485,000; wool raw waste, £1,064,000; seeds and nuts, £827,000; hides and skins, £727,000; non-ferrous metals for manufacturers, amounting to £1,062,000 and in exports of cotton yarns for manufacturers, £1,744,000; woollen yarns for manufactures, £847,000 and re-exports of wool raw waste, £512,000, and rubber, £506,000. Pig lead imports are 29,180 tons including Australian, 16,250 tons.
