KILLER DOG

SHEEP WORRIED AT PIRINOA. There is a killer dog at large in the Pirinoa district. The beast, which shows all the cunning of a wolf in his raids, is creating havoc among the flocks of settlers and already between sixty and seventy sheep have been killed, while many others have been injured, some severely. Efforts to catch the marauder have so far been unsuccessful, although he has been sighted on several occasions. He is described as a big, half-bred Alsatian.
