WINTER SPORTS
TE ORE ORE CLUB. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Te Ore Ore Winter Sports Club was held in the school house on Wednesday. The chairman (Mr A. J. F. McDonald) presided over a good attendance. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr W. McGovern; president, Mr A. J. F. McDonald; vice-presidents, Mrs. J. Morris, Messrs A. M. Sanson, J. McDonald, J. Greig, and J. H. Griffin; hon. secretary, Mr R. S. Percy; hon. treasurer, Mr R. Morris; committee, Misses E. and J. Greig, J. Simpson, Messrs A. Sanson, T. E. Denbee, R. Percy, R. Morris and A. McDonald; club captain and selector, Mr A. Sanson. It was decided to open the season with a combineS doubles tournament. Subscriptions were fixed at: Men, 6s, and ladies, 4s. The club decided not to affiliate with the Wairarapa Table Tennis Association.
