MURPHETVILLE SMASH. FOURTH JOCKEY INJURED. (Recd This Day, 11.30 a.m.) ADELAIDE, May 12. A fourth jockey, K. Bromley, was also seriously injured when five horses fell in the Accession handicap at the Morphetville races, resulting in the deaths of two jockeys. The race was remarkable in many ways. Sio Valley dislodged its rider before the start and took no part in the race. Acceptance, ridden by R. Medhurst, who was not involved in the smash, dropped dead in front of the grandstand. Oliver Reis, winner of the race, had to withstand a protest for interference. At the request of the owner of Acceptance the stewards 'ordered a swab to be taken by a veterinary surgeon which will be analysed.
