TEN YEARS TAKEN OFF. “There is always a certain amount of ‘kidding’ in courtship,” declared the Recorder, Mr Gerald Dodson, at the Old Bailey, London, when he heard that 78-year-old Louis Smart gave his age at 68 on a marriage certificate. Sentence for bigamy—which she admitted —was postponed on Hurlock. She went through the form of marriage with Smart at Clapton.
