« LONDON SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report the following cabled advice just to hand from their London house: — Wool sales opened, competition fairly animated, selection fair, home trade principal operators. Continental buyers quiet. As compared with the closing rates of last series greasy Merino, scoured Merino and greasy J-bred are unchanged; scoured J-bred, irregular, change, if any, in favour of buyers; greasy X-bred, unchanged; scoured X-bred, irregular, change if any, in favour of 'buyers; slipes, combings, unchanged; slipes, other descriptions, par to rather lower.
