WRESTLING

FRALEY' BEATS YOURIST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 9. In a strenuous wrestling bout, at times rough and interrupted by continual outbreaks of fisticuffs, Pat Fraley beat Abe Yourist by a single fall at the Town Hall, Wellington, tonight. A large crowd watched the contest. Fraley, who was repeatedly warned by the referee, Mr Alf. Jenkins, for rough tactics, took a fall in the fifth round with a flying toe-hold, to which Yourist at once submitted.

WIN FOR BLOMFIELD. GISBORNE, May 9. Wrestling before a crowded house on Saturday night, Lofty Blomfield beat Joe Tonti, the loser being unable to continue after the sixth round. Tonti secured a fall in the fourth round, Blomfield equalising in the sixth, after which Tonti was unable to resume.
