YOUNG FARMERS

TOUR OF NORTH ISLAND.

VALUABLE EDUCATIONAL PROJECT.

A most attractive itinerary has been arranged for the tour of Wairarapa district Young Farmers which is to take place this month. The tour, which will embrace a considerable portion of the North Island, is probably the most valuable educational project yet decided on for local Young Farmers. In view of the fact that the number of members attending the annual camp will be restricted Young Farmers are well advised to take advantage of this tour.

In view of the tour having been postponed to start on May 23, there may be sufficient additional members wishing to make the trip to warrant the running of another bus. Any members wishing to go are asked to send in their contributions to the district secretary, Mr N. Lamont, Box 11, Masterton, before Friday next. If an extra bus is not arranged the money will be refunded.

The party will travel via the Main Trunk and Taupo, visiting scenic areas and land development schemes, to the Bay of Plenty, thence to Auckland and returning via the Waikato, where inspections will be made of the Ruakura State Farm, the Arapuni hydro-elec-tric works and the Waitomo Caves and thence via New Plymouth to the Wairarapa, reaching Masterton on June 2.
