10 YARDS SHORT OF GREEN. Alan Turner, has been nicknamed the Sam Snea of La Perouse. For good 1 reason, as, with a southerly behind him recently; he drove more than 400 yards at the 582-yard eighteenth hole. He took a No. 6 iron for his second shot and finished only ten yards short of the green!
