REMUERA SEAT
DR. GUNSON RETIRES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 6. It was announced by Dr E. B. Gunson that he does not intend to proceed with his candidature as an Independent for the Remuera seat, formerly the Parnell seat, at the next general election. Dr Gunson stated last February that he intended to contest the seat, but made no announcement concerning his political campaign or platform. .In stating he was definitely withdrawing from the contest, Dr Gunson gave no intimation of the reasons which prompted this decision.
