LANSDOWNE CLUB GATHERING Members of the Lansdowne Tennis Club and friends assembled in the Savage Club rooms last night, when a dance was held at which the trophies won during the past season were presented by the patron, Mrs H. E. Pither. The list of prize-winners is as fol-lows—-Ladies’ singles championship, Miss V. Watson; men’s singles championship, Mt N, Faulknor; ladies’ handicap singles, Miss J. Wylie; men’s handicap singles, Mr R. Faulknor; ladies’ doubles champion, Misses G. Harcombe and V. Watson; ladies handicap doubles, Misses G. Harcombe and V. Watson; men’s doubles championship, Messrs F. Phillips and N. Faulknor; men’s handicap doubles, Messrs R. Faulknor and G. Colquhoun; combined championship Miss V. Watson and F. Phillips; combined handicap, Miss P. Welch and C. Faulknor; boys’ junior championship, S. Faulknor; girls’ junior championship, B. Devonport.
