Miss E. Robieson is a Masterton visitor to Wellington. Mrs F. R. Riley, of Dunedin, is at present visiting relatives in Masterton. Miss Mary Monro, King Edward Street, Lansdowne, left yesterday for Feilding. Mrs Pinkerton, senr., Miriam Street, Masterton, is celebrating her 89th birthday today. Mrs E. J. Burke, Pownall Street, Masterton. will be spending the weekend in Wellington. Mrs Howard Oakey, of New Plymouth, and formerly of Masterton, is visiting her sister, Mrs Elsie McKenzie, Clareville. Mrs G. Jones, of Pahiatua, who has been on a holiday in Wellington, has returned. Miss A. Jones, who has been on a visit to Blenheim, has returned to Pahiatua. Mrs C. Robertson, of New Plymouth, is visiting Masterton. Mrs Robertson formerly resided in Masterton, where she was a well-known Wairarapa hockey representative. Mr and Mrs .Douglas Donald, of Sydney, who were married at St. Mark’s Church, Darling Point, recently, are on a holiday visit to New Zealand. They are at present the guests of Mr and Mrs V. E. Donald, Lansdowne. Mr Donald is. the pnly son of Mr Harley H. Donald, now of Sydney, and formerly of Masterton, and of the late Mrs Donald. Major Donald, his grandfather, was one of the pioneers of the Wairarapa. The bride is the second daughter of Mr C. S. Nicol, a well-known Sydney journalist.
