“THE SQUEAKER.” “The Squeaker,” a film based on one of Edgar Wallace’s best known plays, is the big feature which will be shown at the State Theatre tonight Edmund Lowe is the star, and he is supported by an outstanding cast headed by Ann Todd, Sebastian Shaw, Tamara Desni, and Robert Newton. An excellent supporting programme includes latest “Popular, Science,,” a Pathe Pictorial, a new novel study, “Men of Ships” and a new British Lion series, “Did You Know That?” SATURDAY’S ATTRACTION. “VICTORIA THE GREAT.” Box plans are now open for this magnificent attraction which will commence its Masterton season on Saturday at the State Theatre.
