PRICE OF PETROL
REDUCTION ANNOUNCED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 3. A reduction of Jd a gallon in the wholesale and retail prices of motor spirit throughout all those areas in the Dominion at present covered by price fixation regulations was announced this evening by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan. The necessary regulations were gazetted today, and the reduction will take effect as from tomorrow. Similar reductions are also being made by tne oil companies in the areas where prices are not yet fixed by regulation.
