WOMEN’S INSTITUTE
MEETING AT MT. BRUCE. The Mt. Bruce Women’s Institute held its monthly meeting in the hall, Mrs R. Campbell presiding. The demonstration for the day was dairy mats in silk wool and cotton, and was given by Mrs H. Daken. The winners of the competitions were as follows: —Sugar bag article: Mrs H. Christiansen, 1; Mrs H. West, 2. Bloom competition: Miss I. Reader, 1; Mrs H. Daken, 2. The hostesses were- Mesdames McLachlan and I. Matthews.
