SEMI-FINAL AT BOURNEMOUTH TOURNEY MISS SCRIVEN IN LADIES’ FINAL (Recd This Day, 10.20 a.m.) BOURNEMOUTH. April 29. The tennis semi-finals resulted: Men’s singles, A. C. Austin defeated H. Petra. 4/6, 6/1. 6/2, 5/7, 6/4. Ladies singles: Miss N. Wynne defeated Miss Scott. 6/4. 6/2; Miss Sinkie defeated Miss Sharpe, 7/5, 6/2, 6/4; Miss H. Scriven defeated Miss K. Stammers. 6/2. 6/3. This is the fourth occasion in which Miss Scriven has been a finalist. Combined doubles: P. Boussus and Miss Wyne defeated Petra and Miss Henrotin, 6/3, 6/2; Billington and Miss P. Ingram defeated Butler and Miss Heeley, 7/5, 6/0.
