ATTACKS REPELLED
INSURGENT OFFENSIVE BROKEN. ’ ACCORDING TO LOYALIST v REPORTS. (Recd This Day, 10.10 a.m.) BARCELONA, April 29. General Franco has been forced toabandon his attack on the Mediterranean and Teruel fronts as a result of the Loyalists’ complete check on the big rebel offensive along the coast. The drive towards Castellon was given up after heavy losses. The rebels also suffered severely in an unsuccessful onslaught in the Trempa sector.
