VALUABLE HINTS. Chairs. Benzine will take of! stains from leather; then brush over surface with a little whipped-up white of an egg. Allow to dry and polish with soft cloth. Wine Stains. If on linen hold article in boiling milk until stains disappear. For Baby. Put a squeaky rubber doll at baby's feet in the perambulator which will please him, or her, by squeaking when touched by feet. Leaky Bath. A temporary remedy is to press some soap well into the hole; or putty, if latter is available.
Try These Gloves. Lined gloves keep your Angers warm but usually look rather clumsy. Suede gloves lined with soft silk, however, provide extra warmth and yet allow the gloves to fit in slim close fashion so that the hands look nice and elegant.
Latest Tiles. Newest tiles for a tiled kitchen are stainless steel. They are six inches square and are splendid for placing round the sides and back of a sink, being the easiest thing in existence for keeping bright and clean.
