The Dannevirke Racing Club’s meeting is being held today by the Woodville Club in windy, showery weather. There is a fair crowd considering that it is an off day. The track is very heavy as the result of the extensive rain the day before. Results: — MANG ATER A HURDLES, IJm. 2 Iddo, 10.10 F .... 1 4 Hirangi, 9.10 2 3 Taumau, 9.13 3 Scratched: Aurora’s Love, Silver Jubilee, Greek Arma, and Vestal Queen. Won by 6 lengths, with Taumau 3 lengths further back. Time, 2.59 1-5. RAKAIATAI MAIDEN STAKES 6f. 1 Reay Bridge, 8.11 1 5 Brilliant Acre, 8.11 2 2 Royal Tinge, 8.11 3 Scratched: Allmetic, Golden Enterprise, Waterproof. Reay Bridge, previously known as Fitzjames, won by three lengths, with the third horse two lengths further back. Time, 1.19 3-5.
